VBI Array Data Analysis and Management System (VBI-ADAMS)

Version: Alpha

Purpose

This system provides a pipeline for analysis of microarray data. It includes commonly used methods for preprocessing, statistical analysis, clustering and Principal Components Analysis. Additional methods will be added over time. Currently, this system is an alpha release. It has been tested using Mozilla Firefox and is being tested for other browsers.

Release Notes

This is an Alpha release and does not claim to be free of bugs and/or usability issues. We are working on further improvements and welcome feedback towards improvements.
  1. Bugs: VBI knows of no bugs currently, and has tested this against several different data sets. Further testing is underway.
  2. Usability: VBI knows that the average user needs additional training on how to use parts of the system. We are working on specific improvements which, when implemented, will enhance the usability.

If you desire to be an alpha user/tester and would like to provide feedback, please contact microarrayinfo@vbi.vt.edu.
If you desire to be notified when the system becomes generally available, please contact microarrayinfo@vbi.vt.edu.

Tutorial

A short tutorial highlighting some of the tool’s basic features and how to use them will be provided by Nov 15, 2006.

Data Storage time

Unless you specifically request otherwise, VBI reserves the right to delete the data after a long period (currently 6 months) of inactivity.
